In the early 1800s Fort Myers was built on the Caloosahatchee River as protection for the settlers from the Seminole Indians. The settlers brought not only their families, but their homes, traditions, myths, and fairy tales. As all Changelings know, sometimes those fairy tales are real.
At that time, the Changelings of the area banded together with the four seasons for protection against the Fae. As a symbol of the pledge between the seasons and the Changelings, four pillars were built to represent each of the four courts.
Since then, the wording of the pledges has been forgotten, but the four courts remain. Every court has grown stronger or weaker over the years, but the balance of the seasons has remained. This year, the Summer and Winter Courts have remained strong, while both Autumn and Spring have waned.
Here you will find a list of information about the local Changelings. All information is considered to be Out of Character knowledge.
